April Happenings

So far, it has been a very busy month, complete with lots of visitors and lots of traveling. Thankfully, the weather has been really nice and we have been able to get out and enjoy it! This has been the first year in recent history where I have willingly NOT run the Monument 10K. I decided that it was just too crowded of a race, and I am hoping to run a half marathon this fall instead....Someone hold me to that thought! The Heffners were in town and we thoroughly enjoyed eating greasy breakfast sandwiches as we watched the runners!
We were fortunate to have my parents and my Nana down for a few days this past week. There visit coincided with my Dad's 40th birthday so I had an excuse to make a nice cake and throw a little party!
