Babymoon!

Russ and I decided to head out on a vacation ALONE before Rhys makes his grand debut this summer and my parents were more than happy to come down and hang out with Drew for a couple days. I have had my heart set on visiting Savannah and Charleston for ages-probably since reading Gone with the Wind obsessively in high school, so of course, we knocked off one of those two cities on this trip. Although Hilton Head and Savannah are not the most exotic of locations, it was just perfect-especially when you were 29 weeks pregnant and it is late April. The weather was perfect and I was as comfortable as can be. Not too pregnant where you can't get around, but not too early on where you can't enjoy the food. We really were able to relax and spend some quality time together. We took naps every afternoon, lounged at the beach, enjoyed a round of golf, and ate some really great seafood. There was a PGA tournament going on in Hilton Head the weekend we were there, so we even got to participate in a big, big party-Southern style.
