We brought in the New Year with Mimi and Grandpa at the beach. My dad was able to bring his pups and we all had a great time. The weather could not have been nicer-60 and sunny on New Years Eve! It was so nice to have a few extra pairs of hands around, and my mom spoiled me by doing all the cooking. Rhys was starting to change patterns on us this weekend-refusing to sleep or eat, but doing plenty of playing! We all read, ran, and enjoyed playing with the kids. Drew and Rhys were spoiled with more presents, and Drew especially enjoyed the quality time with his grandparents. For New Years we all stayed up, including Rhys! watching a great movie and drinking Baileys on ice-so yummy! We were all sad to leave, most of all Drew, who had a major meltdown watching Mimi and Grandpa drive away. Hopefully we can all get down there again soon.
